I totally hate conferences. I have a 50 mm 1.4 that I love. I have never tried a 35. I was debating between a 85 or 35. I'm on a crop camera so I think 35 would be more like a 50.
ReplyDeleteHave fun shooting.

Yes it is more like a 50mm. But your 50mm is bumped up too! I have a Nikon 5100 that I bought to replace a D70.

Oh conferences.... I have a love hate relationship with them. We just finished our conference week. Surprisingly, I only had a few no shows. Love, love, love photography too! It's another of those things that I need to make time for in my week. Longer days will certainly help! An urban exploring day sounds like fun! Oddly enough, one of my favorite recents photo adventures was to a local cemetery.
ReplyDeleteWe are excited for the Urban exploring day. We found several photography groups on meetup.com. Many of them will have workshops, days trips and even weekend trips that are planned out for photography. Last year when my son was volunteering on an eagle scout project I took my camera along (they were cleaning up an old cemetery)I took some pictures.
DeleteLOL- I was just thinking that I need another cup of coffee! Especially to get through grading papers and lesson plans today.

Ugh-conferences! I don't like them due to the fact the parents never show up! Love your blog!

Ohhhh exciting news with the lenses... I feel like I've neglected my camera over the school year, I'm itching to start taking more pictures over spring break when I head back home.
